What activities does Fastrax Summer Camp offer?

Campers at Fastrax Summer Camp will experience a variety of exciting activities, including Go-Karts, Laser Tag, Karaoke, Arcade Games, Water Gun Battles, Candy Crafts, Movies, Bean Bag Toss and more!

What if my camper doesn't want to participate in one of these activities?

At Fastrax Summer Camp we are all about having fun! We have a talented, encouraging support staff who can help your child work through their anxiety in the dark laser tag arena, or gain confidence on the go-kart track. However, everyone is different and your camper will be allowed to opt out of something if they’re not comfortable.

Is after care available for my camper?

Accepted Answer

Yes, camp runs from 9am to 3pm. If you require childcare for a longer duration, aftercare is an additional $100 per camper per session. Our staff will keep the fun going until 6pm for your after care camper.

What should my camper wear to Fastrax Summer Camp?

Accepted Answer

It is very important to send campers in sneakers or closed toed shoes with socks. For the safety of our campers, there are absolutely no flip flops, crocs or sandals allowed.  We recommend comfortable clothing suitable for a day of fun activities. We will spend some time outdoors, whether on go-karts or doing other activites, so please dress for the weather.

What should my camper bring?

Your camper will need to bring:
-- A packed lunch (except on Fridays for the pizza party)
-- A water bottle with their name on it
-- Snacks (optional)
-- A towel and change of clothes for Water Battle Day*
*This day will be communicated to parents the week of camp.

Will lunch or snacks be served?

Accepted Answer

Campers must pack a lunch and snack with a water bottle. Please be sure to label all of their belongings with the camper’s name. On Fridays, we will have a pizza party! If your camper is not allowed pizza, please pack a lunch on Friday. Popcorn and one candy selection will be provided for movie time.

What is the drop off process like?

When dropping off in the morning, we'll be out in the parking lot to meet you and your camper at your car. Please pull up in any available parking space on the RIGHT side of the parking lot as you pull in, and we will get your camper signed in for the day.

What is the pickup process like?

Accepted Answer

In the afternoon when you arrive, please park in any available space on the RIGHT side of the parking lot as you pull in, and an attendant will be with you momentarily to arrange for your camper to be brought out. If you are picking up after 3:30PM (after care pickup), you will need to park in any available parking space and come into the front desk.

Will Fastrax be open to the public during camp hours?

During camp sessions, we will not open to the public until 3:00PM. For campers in after care, your child will remain with the after care group until pickup.

Can parents/guardians accompany their campers during camp?

Accepted Answer

We do not allow parents to stay during camp. We do invite parents/guardians to a party on Friday afternoons at 2pm to sing karaoke and play in the arcade with their campers! Play cards for parent participants will be provided. We hope you will enjoy making memories of good times with your campers!

What if I need to contact my camper?

We discourage having cell phones at camp. There are many ways cell phones can get damaged or lost during camp - from the go-kart track to the water battles. Should you need to contact your camper, you are welcome to call Fastrax at 540-949-5278.

What safety measures are in place at Fastrax Summer Camp?

The safety of our campers is our top priority. We have trained staff, safety guidelines for each activity, and all necessary precautions to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience. Our facility is fenced in, the entrance remains locked during camp hours (9:00AM-3:00PM), and no outside patrons are permitted to enter the premises during camp. What is the refund policy in case of cancellations?

Accepted Answer

Your $100 deposit per camper per session is non-refundable. The balance is due prior to or on the first day of camp. If you have to cancel for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible. If you have opted to pay in full, but have to cancel, you will receive a refund for the amount paid minus $100 per child per week for the deposit.
